How to Buy

Cars

  1. Search!

    Start by clicking the search button at the top right of the page. You can search for a specific car that you're trying to find or simply click search to browse all of the cars that have been listed.

  2. Send messages and buy a car

    It's really no different than anywhere else. Once you find a car that looks interesting send the seller a few messages to ask them more questions about it.

Parts

  1. Search!

    Start by clicking the search button at the top right of the page. You can search for all parts currently listed that fit your car, by specific category like 17" wheels, or even for a specific part. If you're searching for a specific part you'll need to know the brand name and the part name. For example to search for all Falken Azenis tires currently for sale type "Falken" into the brand field and "Azenis" into the part field.

  2. Add to Want to Buy (Optional)

    Sometimes our members haven't listed the parts you're looking for. That sucks. If that's the case you can add the part to your "Want to Buy" list and we'll let you know as soon as someone lists the part you're looking for. This will even work for entire categories of parts. If you're looking for a set of 17" 5x100 wheels you can add that directly to your Want to Buy list and we'll send you e-mails that contain 17" 5x100 wheels.

  3. Make an Offer (Optional)

    Sometimes sellers will list their parts with an Or Best Offer (OBO) tag. If you see the "Offer" button on the listing and don't like the price they're currently asking click on the Offer button and let them know how much you're willing to pay. Low-balling generally doesn't get a reply but our research shows that a reasonable offer which is likely to get accepted is somewhere in the range of 15-20% below the asking price.

  4. Click Buy and Pay

    Found the part you want and the price is right? Buy it! If you're new to Styckyd you'll be asked to update your shipping address so we can tell the seller where to ship your new parts and the price will be updated to include shipping to your address from the seller's address, this price is automatically calculated for you. Then you'll be given a link to PayPal to send the money to the seller. Once complete we'll send an e-mail to the seller letting them know it's a good time to send the parts your way.

  5. Wait For the Parts to Arrive

    All that's left is to keep an eye outside until you see the brown or white truck show up with the box. Just in case you need to get in touch with the seller in the mean time Styckyd automatically created a new message thread between the two of you when you confirmed your purchase. Happy buying!
