- If you buy something, pay for it.
- If you sell something, ship it.
- Don’t scam people.
- Don’t vanish.
- A garbage bag is not sufficient packaging when shipping a radiator.
*These notes are not legally binding and are only intended to serve as relief from the dullness of the Legalese to which they pertain. They do not excuse you from reading and abiding by said agreement.
Once an offer to purchase has been accepted by the Seller, or once a counter-offer has been accepted by either party, both parties enter into a binding contract, the terms of which are outlined below.
THE BUYER
Binding Sale
The Buyer agrees to pay for the item once a sale agreement has been reached (defined as the buyer clicking a Buy button or by either party accepting an offer made by the other party). All sales are binding.
Offers
An offer is treated as intent to purchase and implies acceptance of these Terms of Sale. By submitting an offer to buy an item listed on Styckyd you warrant that you have the means and intent to pay for the item should the Seller accept your offer.
Cancelling an Offer
An offer may be cancelled at any time prior to the Seller either accepting or declining it. Once an offer has been accepted, the transaction has been initiated and cannot be cancelled. At its sole discretion, Styckyd may allow a Buyer to cancel an offer under certain conditions.
Shipping
The buyer shall pay the cost of shipping, as determined by the Styckyd shipping estimation, which shall be based upon the shipping address entered by the seller, the shipping address entered by the buyer, and the package dimensions entered by the seller.
Payment
The Buyer shall pay the full amount due to the seller immediately upon clicking a Buy button on Styckyd, or within 24 hours of the Seller accepting an offer from the Buyer. Expiration of this 24 hour period will result in the item being automatically relisted. The Buyer shall pay using a payment method currently supported by Styckyd. Failure to pay for an item within this time may result in Styckyd suspending the Buyer’s account or limiting the Buyer’s ability to make future offers on listings.
Shipping Address
The Buyer shall provide Styckyd and the Seller a valid shipping address to which the item may be shipped.
No guarantees of item functionality, fitment, or suitability to the buyer’s intentions or purposes are implied, nor are the claims or guarantees of the item’s manufacturer endorsed or supported by Styckyd.
THE SELLER
Binding Sale
All sales are binding. By accepting a purchase offer for an item you listed on Styckyd or by making a counter-offer to a buyer, you agree to sell the item to the Buyer using means offered by Styckyd to complete the transaction.
Counter-Offers
A counter-offer is treated as an intention to sell and acceptance by the other side on your revised terms constitutes a binding sale.
Cancelling a Counter-Offer
An offer may be cancelled at any time prior to the Buyer either accepting or declining it. Once an offer has been accepted, the transaction has been initiated and cannot be cancelled without the consent of both parties and Styckyd.
Shipping
Styckyd recommends that the Seller ship the item within 3 business days of being notified that the Buyer has paid for the item. The Seller shall package the item per the guidelines provided by the shipping agent and with reasonable care taken to minimize the risk of damage to the item during transit. Information provided by the Seller, including package dimensions and weight, shall be used to calculate a shipping estimate from a popular carrier upon sale of the item. This estimate will be added to the price that shall be paid by the Buyer to the Seller. The Seller is responsible for paying actual shipping costs to the carrier when the shipment is initiated.
Payment
The Seller agrees to accept payment for the item via PayPal.
Fees
Styckyd shall charge the Seller a fee upon successful sale of an item. Details can be found on Styckyd's Fees page.
